OUR LAW FIRM

Our firm was founded in 1980 by Mr. Bernardino Real, Doctor of Law and Social Sciences and Ms. Maria Isabel Alfaro, Notary Public, both graduated from the University of the Republic in 1979 and 1980, respectively.

With effort and dedication they built a professional firm providing legal and notarial services pursuant to the professional practice standards of their time. They laid the foundations of their development and growth on the professional prestige they acquired over time, earning the trust of a large and select client base.

From its beginnings, REAL ALFARO law firm has shown the distinctive hallmark of its founders in terms of the highly personalized treatment with all its clients, both natural persons and small, medium and large-sized commercial and industrial companies.

Mr. Bernardino Real, President of the Uruguayan Bar Association (2012-2014) and President of Mercosur Council of Orders and Bar Associations (2018-2020), currently serves as a dependent Consultant.

At Real Alfaro, our guiding principle has been the firm permanence throughout time based on the excellence of our services. With this in mind, in 2009 we started a modernization of our management approach incorporating young professionals imbued with our values of ethics, confidentiality and commitment to law enforcement as well as to the needs of our customers. Last but not least, our staff is also inspired with their condition as agents of the transformations inherent to current times, which resulted in the generation of new relationships of trust with our clients.

Currently led by Mr. Luciano Real, graduated Lawyer from the University of Montevideo who has worked in the firm since 2004, we count on the support of a team of professionals specialized in various areas of law who face the challenges of present and future times with competence and responsibility.
